OXWICH & PENRICE WI

meet in Oxwich and Penrice Youth Hall, on the first Tuesday of the month, at 2.00pm.

There are 15 members.

The WI was formed in April 1927, in the now derelict village Reading Room, and apart from one year, meetings have been held every year since, so they say they must be doing something right! They are a small but lively group, and welcome visitors.

This lovely banner featured in the 2007/8 exhibition, "Textile Treasures of the WI", which visited the CIA Stitches & Hobbycraft Show in Cardiff, as well as many other venues through the UK.
