meet at The Pavilion, Talbot Green, on the second Thursday of the month, at 7.00pm

38 members belong to this happy and friendly group, which is unusual in that they meet outside the village whose name they use, but their members come from a wide surrounding area. They are always willing to give a helping hand. As well as their main meetings, they also have a Drama Group.

 

The banner depicts the coat of arms of the Rhys-Williams family of Miskin Manor (now a hotel), the monks castle at Mwyndy Cross, and the Glamorgan chevrons.

It was made in 1971, mainly by the late Sophie Roberts, although all the members at that time contributed a few stitches.
