CULVERHOUSE CROSS WI

meet in Michaelston Community College, on the second Tuesday of the month, at 7pm.

Formed in 1971, they have 22 members. They have a Guest Speaker at most meetings, and also enjoy outings, parties, and an annual barbecue. A small, friendly Institute, they will guarantee you a warm welcome. Members enjoy playing skittles; they are keen to challenge other WIs to a friendly match.

Quite a few members have been globe-trotting, and are usually willing to do an illustrated talk on their return. So far, they have covered Africa, Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Malaysia and Russia!

Their claim to fame is having proposed not one, but two Resolutions for the AGM, with a mention in Home & Country!
