Formed in 1971, they have 22 members.
They have a Guest Speaker at most
meetings, and also enjoy outings, parties, and an annual barbecue. A small,
friendly Institute, they will guarantee you a warm welcome. Members enjoy
playing skittles; they are keen to challenge other
Quite a few members have been
globe-trotting, and are usually willing to do an illustrated talk on their
return. So far, they have covered Africa,
Their claim to fame is having proposed not one, but two Resolutions for the AGM, with a mention in Home & Country!

The banner represents the crossroads at Culverhouse, and is made of purple fabric, with the cross in white on a green circle. The lettering is in white, and "WI, 1971" in gold kid. It was made by Mrs Marjorie Mulford in 1971. The stand was made by Mr Peter Sexton. |

the Evening Class schedule demands it. Altered dates are shown in red.
