NFWI 10.10 campaign. Do you
remember the Carbon Challenge? We were all encouraged to complete a
survey about our lifestyle and get advice on how to reduce our energy
use/carbon footprint. To build on that initiative NFWI has now signed up
to the 10.10 campaign which is
a national drive by individuals and organizations
to cut carbon emissions by 10%
during 2010. Anyone can sign up. For
those of you who like to use the technology, go to the website
www.1010uk.org
sign up and download the ten action points. If you prefer we can send
you a paper copy. Phone June Humphry 01639 881588.

Ticket
applications need to be sent in as soon as possible as this is always a
popular event for WI members and friends, especially when combined with
Christmas shopping. Ticket price is £10, including programme. Doors will
open at 6.45pm – not before, so that various sound checks can be made.
The Carol Festival will be a wonderful start to the Christmas season.
Hops 2010.
This is not a spelling mistake. As our Friday Night Hops are always a
sell-out we have decided to hold
two in 2010. The first will be in Briton Ferry Community Centre on
Friday 19 March 2010 and the second we hope will be in Llantwit Fardre
in May. Watch out for more information.
