During 2007, Denman College
announced that new buildings were planned, and federations were
encouraged to apply to sponsor the new rooms. Glamorgan Board
of Trustees jumped at the chance, and were delighted to hear they
had been awarded a room in the new Holly Cottage. To finance this
room, Glamorgan held a raffle, and due to members' enthusiasm,
raised sufficient money to furnish the room.
Board members spent the
money wisely, and expended a huge amount of time and energy getting
things just right. The Glamorgan weekend at Denman in September
2008 was the ideal opportunity to show off our new room; sadly,
building-work had been held up, and the room was not quite ready,
but members were delighted with what they saw.

The room has a comfy bed
and good lighting; there is an easy chair at the foot of the
bed.
There is a kettle and a
Portmeirion teaset, and a roomy double-wardrobe. The door on
the right leads to the en suite shower and toilet.
