What has changed from version 2?:

Almost everything (again)! Mainly thanks to Dave Finney for providing much of the technical information enabling this version to be redrawn (almost) to scale, especially the taxiways and apron sizes.

Many additional scenery features are also included: TDZ lights for Rwy27, all taxiway signing, corrected taxiway lighting (for CAT II Ops.), windsocks (lit and unlit!), nite lighted apron, new buildings (including new control tower), fuel farm etc. etc.

A complete scenery for Liverpool Airport (located in the Merseyside region of the North West of England). Also included are additions to the surrounds including a major landmark of the area, Fiddlers Ferry Power Station at approx. N53:22:18/W002:41:16.

The airport is an emerging hub for 'low cost' airline operations during the day/early evening however it is an important part of the UK's mail/parcels operations networks as well as freight links to the Isle of Man, thereby coming to life between 2200 and 0100 hours each day!

Intended for use with FS98 default scenery and to interlace with Bill Cusicks 'Mersey' scenery area (For information the text file from this is included in this archive file) and Paul Mitchells 'FS98 Beaches and Estuaries for Northern England' (ms_ngb1.zip) which are both available from either flightsim.com or this web site (below).

Some artistic license has been given but it is a reasonable depiction of the airport as it is today (March 2000).

What has changed from version 3?:
Apron illumination: Softned the color from bright white to a lighter grey. To activate it has to be 'Night' and your COM1 radio must be tuned to 121.50!
Runcorn Bridge (to East of airport): Changes to day/night illumination to better reflect the real world!
Revised texture file: AP-RWY10.PAT is replaced to overcome some transparency problem!
