A Superb Breakfront Wardrobe with Mirror Matched Veneers

This excellent break fronted robe came in for a clean and revival from a local antiques shop. Although the cabinet work and the superb mirror matched veneers were obviously top quality, they were dulled by time, lifted and buckled by long term exposure to strong sunlight and scarred by recent transport damage.

After re-laying the loose veneers and a carefull oil/spirit based wash down we pulled over the complete wardrode with a light coating of traditional french polish and then waxed with tradional bee's wax.

The glorious iridescent veneers now shine out as intended.
