A Small Queen Ann style Walnut Bureau

This small Queen Ann style lady's writing bureau in walnut with burr walnut to the fall and drawer front, came into us from a private customer and was in need of a litlle care and attenion. The veneers were chipped and missing, the fall no longer fitted, the automatic loafers did not work and the polish was marked and dulled by time.

We first replaced the missing veneers and adjusted the fall and loafers and then spent a couple of hours cleaning the old finish. After a good wax polishing it was ready to go home.
