FRIDAY
I arrived at the hotel at 11:00. Outside the hotel was a sign for Ros Legend 2004 and in the entrance there was a wolfs hanging up. Which I through was a lovely idea. So after I booked in and when to my room which was number 445. I unpacked hang my dresses up and then went to have a look around.
At 15:15 Nikke arrived, I was so glad to see her. After I help her with, her bags, we talked for a while in her room. Then we decided to go and see who else had arrived. Some people had arrived, some old and new faces.
A group of us when to get something to eat, but we through that we missed getting our badges, but we wasnt. That was when I found out I was a steward. Then we when to the room. As you enter the room was medieval knight and archer. Then further on in the room was breathe taking; there had games and the dealers tables.
So we all sat down. We them had to choose a names for our team. So we got Oh Shit, which got a few laughs when Phil would not say the Sh word. To our shock we won the quiz, which was strangle seeing that none of us had watched the series for a while. We then found out that we only got two questions wrong out of the whole lot.
Then it was back into the bar, I believe Phil stay up until 3am.
SATURDAY
On the Saturday I meet Nikke for breakfast at 7:30am. At 9:00 we when into the room. And instead of having the chair in rows, there had the tables. On the stage there were chairs and microphones. Nikke and me look at the dealers tables and had a go at the cross bow, by the second time we both hit the Norman knight. We both got swords.
Then Phil came on, then Kip and Annie and Nick through out the day. (I am not going to say what they said; you had to be there to here there) But when it came to asking questions, I came up with the idea to get the people to write down any questions there would like to asked but was to nervous to ask in person. I was took later by Phil that they like that idea. And it work.
After I when round asking people if they would like to buy a raffle tickets for #1. A lot of people did. Then I had to go and get change. That was when I cut my finger on a shaver and it didnt stop bleeding, so I had to go back down and ask at the desk. Lucky it did stop in the end. Fine I change in my new dress, cape and headdress. I was on the door making sure people did not go into the room before it was time. Then Peter came out, and said people between 1 & 10, which were on the badges, could go in so Phil and me opened the doors. While everyone was in. I had to site at the table for the stewards. During the meal we had a wonderful play about all of the 26 episodes of Ros including some of the outtakes. Phil and Nickolas enjoyed the play very much, I got here them and sometime banging on the tables it was so funny.
After the play, we had the auction. Instead of someone holding the pictures, etc, there had scanned them into the computer and put them on to the big screen so that everybody could see. Phil sword when for £800 that included a photo of Phil as Tuck, with the sword. I brought 3 items.
Then it was time to remember Robert. What there done was taking the scene of the merries firing the flaming arrows into the lake? They show clips of Gisburne. Then they had shot of him and the screen went black. Phil stood up and asked everyone to stand, which he didn’t need to ask. He said to Robert bless him and we all said to Robert.
Then it was back into the bar.
