Sir Vincent Fulnetby & Ancestors.

The Fulnetby memorial is a "Fireplace frame" memorial to Sir Vincent Fulnetby. Knight .and his ancestors. There is no other reference to any ancestors but it does commemorate his two wives and their children.

The first wife Jane Herneden who died in 1593 and his second Margaret Dimoke, sister to the Kings champion of the day Sir Edward Dimoke. One daughter is referred to only in the numbers quoted but not by name.

There are twenty two coats of arms shown on the memorial but no references. I have never seen another like it and I believe it to be a one off probably made to Sir Vincent’s specification. I would like to know of any similar if anyone knows of one.
