Church of St. Mary Magdalen.

Newark.

Nottinghamshire.

A large "Wall Tablet" of cast iron in the church garden. Foundry unknown. In the shape of a doorway complete with door on which the text of the inscription is written. Possibly the Door to Heaven, surely not to the other place? When one reads the text it becomes clear that it is most likely the door to the organ loft.
