In the South Chapel now known as the Gainsborough Chapel.
Father Sir Baptist Hicks died without any sons and was permitted to pass his honours and titles to the husband of his eldest daughter whose family name was Noel and thus her descendants bear the name Noel and they became the Earls of Gainsborough.

On the South side of the chapel is the fine memorial to Juliana Hicks and her Husband Edward Noel, Lord and Lady Campden. Hardly Cadavers in the normal sense They stand dressed in shrouds in the door of a marble cupboard with the doors ajar ready to emerge on the sound of the last trump. This is supposed to be representing the Resurrection. They clasp hands and both wear their coronets. This monument is by Joshua Marshall,1664 "Master Mason to Charles II. (At The sign of The Hand and Starre in Fleet Street.London.) The Epitaphs are lettered on the inside of the doors and tradition says that they remained closed until after the death of Lady Juliana. Sir Edward Noel fell at Oxford whilst fighting for Charles I.
