VALUE YOUR VOICE

 These are some strategies to help your voice stay healthy

and work effectively
 
  

  •         Make sure you are standing tall and do not have hunched shoulders
     – the voice works more efficiently if the body is aligned
     

  •         Drink about 2 litres of water throughout each day
     – your voice needs to keep hydrated to keep its flexibility
     

  •         Circle your shoulders to release tension
     – they don’t belong up near your ears!
     

  •         Check your jaw is not clenched
     – particularly sitting in a traffic jam!
     

  •         Breathe deeply
     – this helps you to relax
     

  •         Use silence
     – the power of the pause is not to be underestimated!
