Our voices are capable of a much wider range of ‘notes’
than we generally use.

A tune with only four notes soon becomes monotonous!

‘I think my voice could sound more interesting’  Listen to a group of people who are relaxed and enjoying themselves.  Their voices are lively and expressive because they are not tense or self conscious.

When we are under pressure the voice ‘flattens’ and becomes monotonous.  We use only about four ‘notes’ instead of about the ten we need to sound interesting.

Everyone responds more readily to a voice that is well modulated.

By practising effective exercises to release tension, and learning how to inject more energy into your speech, you will have more impact on your audience and make a positive lasting impression.
