Yemen

Strategically placed in the Horn of Africa, Yemen faces huge problems of poverty, growing population and the damage caused by a turbulent past and regional uncertainty.

Project

In 2002 we undertook a successful Food Policy Mission in relation to supporting Yemen's planned accession to the WTO.  The brief was to undertake a GAP analysis, identify funding opportunities for projects and to create a model for an integrated National plan to aid the development of the food sector.

The programme was on behalf of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
