Pakistan, Lifting of Fishery Exports
Suspension.
International Food Management formed a
team with Grimsby Institute and Manufacturing Improvement International
on behalf of UNIDO in May 2005 with the aim of lifting a self imposed
export suspension following an inspection by the FVO in January 2005. In
the space of three months, the team identified Competent Authority
deficiencies and developed improvement plans for; boats, landing quays,
auctions and processors. Furthermore the team designed and oversaw the
completion of a new auction hall and delivered workshops and training
benefiting more than two hundred stakeholders.
