Dry-Fried Garlic Mushrooms

Serves 4

 

· 450g (1lb) mushrooms

· 1 onion finely diced

· 2 garlic clove, crushed

· Salt and freshly ground black pepper

 

 

 

Preheat the oven to 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4.

Cut the mushrooms in half and place the mushrooms and onions in a non-stick pan.  Add the garlic and season with salt  and pepper.  Slowly dry-fry the onions and mushrooms for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Transfer to an ovenproof dish.  Cover and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
