Installation of the VFCC Fuel Cut Controller
The VFCC is a product designed and distributed by TRL Performance
That's it.
Now put it all back together following the reverse instructions to getting to the ECU. You'll probably find the small plastic loom cover won't go back on so just throw it away. Hide the VFCC box underneath the gearbox control unit, it just fits underneath at the top.
Note:
The VFCC's supplied by TRL are set to
RAISE the FUEL CUT NOT REMOVE IT
They have an overboost threshold (i.e. a raised fuel cut limit) setting of about 18psi. If you wish to boost beyond this the overboost cannot help as you've run out of range on the stock Toyota MAP sensor. This can be lifted and removed altogether, if you need to know how contact me.
It's a bit hit and miss as the stock MAP sensors do seem to vary a bit towards there upper limits so let me know if you would either like a rasied fuel cut threshold or it removed completely. It's the same box so nothing extra to buy. Just turning a screw is all that's needed.
And finally the VFCC is the same model for the UK, Japanese grey import and also the VVTi model.
