VALLEY UPDATE

The Valley School Web Site is currently under contruction.

The Valley School opened in 1991.  It is a secondary special school for pupils aged 11-16 with moderate learning difficulties.

The school has 22 fte teachers and 20 learning support assistants. Pupils are taught in small groups for all subjects. The school follows the national curriculum and delivers subjects at a level and pace designed to meet the needs of the pupils.

The Valley School is situated to the south of Stevenage on the A602, the Hertford Road. We share our site with Stevenage youth and community centre and the Stevenage music centre. North Herts. College operates a small transition course for pupils aged 16-18 on the site. The school backs onto the Fairlands Valley Park, an attractive local open area.
