TRAGIC NEWS!!!!
GLASGOW TO CARLISLE v3 To be no more development
It has just been brought to my attention at Lunch time that David Carmont has halted his Planned v.3 of his excellent Glasgow to Carlisle it is not clear if the Current v2 is to be the final version or if David will put out the incomplete v3 .
I was really looking for ward to this route as I know several other folk were too, the planned third version was to include the lines to & beyond Paisley & the Clyde coast out to Wemyss Bay.
On a personal Note this is the second time this has happened this year I was waiting on Highland Mainlines v2 since April /July 2006 & it author cancelled it due to personal commitments :(
I would like to thank David for the first 2 versions of the route & I sincerely do hope he does still allow the unfinished work in to the Public Domain. for full details visit David's own site
