Trading Guidelines

* When swapping with someone, here are some useful guidelines to follow:

* Make sure that you and the other person are clear about what you are going to exchange.

* You must send the cards you agreed to send.

* Exchanges are assumed to be with cards in good condition. Don't send damaged cards - unless you have told the other person the condition of those cards first. People who receive bent or scratched cards are not likely to swap with you again, and chances are you will get a bad name within the phonecard community.

* If you are not sure that the person you are trading with is reliable, mail other collectors and ask if they have dealt with them. You can also check this list of disreputable traders for people to avoid.

*Be sure to keep a record of the person's name, address, e-mail, what cards you send and what you are swapping for.

* Don't put adhesive tape directly onto the cards - it is difficult to remove and often results in damage to the card's surface.

* Use of elastic bands should also be avoided as they can bend and damage cards.

* Pack the cards well so the packaging won't tear or come apart.

* Put a "from address" on the back of the package - this helps if the package gets lost and needs to be returned to you.

* Put a note inside the package saying that the cards are from you.
