As a Charter Standard Community Club we take our responsibility to the community seriously. As part of this commitment we hold Saturday Morning Football Academy sessions No membership is required - we operate an open house all abilities philosophy which put in laymen's terms means: ALL ARE WELCOME |

Norton & Stockton Ancients & NEFA join forces The sessions are organised & run by the North East Football Academy on our behalf. Owner of the Academy Phil Laverick, is the manager/coach of our Under 8's team & we fully support him & his qualified coaches in delivering high quality coaching for your youngster. |

Where do we hold the sessions:
|
On the Astroturf pitch or grass training area on the Northern side of the site over the railway footbridge in winter & on the grass adjacent to the Northern League pitch enclosure on the main site during the summer. | |
| The minimum age of youngster we accept: | The lowest age we can safely accept is 4 years (subject to the coaches approval) | |
| The day & time of the sessions: | Saturdays - 10:00am till 11:30am | |
| The cost: | £3 per session | |
| What equipment does my child need: | Football boots, trainers, shin pads, appropriate clothing, waterproof coat & a drink. | |
| The coach to youngster ratio: | We aim to for a maximum of 15 youngsters to each coach (this is sometimes exceeded) | |
| What happens in poor weather: | The younger ages (4,5,6 etc) up to about 20 youngsters go into the Indoor Cricket School if available | |
| Do I have to stay with my child: | No | |
| What first aid provision is there: | Each coach is a qualified first aider & we keep a medical kit available at all times | |
| Do I need to fill in any forms: | Yes - We are required by the FA to obtain a completed loco parentis form plus it gives us contact details | |
| Does my child have to attend every session: | No - He/she can attend whenever they wish to | |
| How do I know my child will be safe: | Each coach is covered by the Charter Standard CRB checks & have attended Child Protection Training | |
