Tuesday 31 July 2001 Tuesday 31 July 2001Beaumaris Town regatta - the race around Puffin Island. Another nice sunny day. Beating against the wind towards Puffin resulted in many boats missing the tide and not making it through Puffin Sound. Labrador (Falcon 22) was the last boat to succeed in rounding the island. A long race, these photos were taken between the launching at one o'clock and quarter to six, when Golden Eagle eventually came ashore.
