Very little Dwarf activity has gone down in the last month and as such, a site update has not been required of me. However, there is a time to surf, and there is a time to wax your board. Now is the time to give you details of exactly what's happened...
Documentary
Red Dwarf is soon to be the centre of attention in Comedy Connections, a BBC1 series charting the history of some of the best Britcoms to date. Ganymede & Titan have spotted this entry in the BBC Comedy Blog, which states that the Dwarf episode is to air on Monday 16th August at 10:35 PM on BBC1. (The Young Ones/Rik & Ade fans: Be sure to watch Comedy Connections on Monday 2nd August - it's TYO edition.)
Theme tune world premiere

As reported on the official site, Red Dwarf: The Roleplaying Game is soon to be released in the UK and Germany. A release date has not yet been given.
V DVD Gift Set
Much loveliness is the next item of news - The Red Dwarf Zone spotted its entry on BBC Shop a short while back, but this week's update on the official site gives us further details of a Series V [DVD] Starbug Gift Set.
"As you'd expect, this contains the Series V double-disc DVD, plus one of Corgi's rather splendid Starbug models."
The only downside that I can see is that I'll have to make more room on my shelf for the larger box which I clearly hadn't anticipated. (Ahh, the effort.) But it looks to be a stunning little set; I'm now wondering if the Series I-IV boxset will have similar packaging and not just a cellophane wrapper grouping the individual cases together. Hmmmm...
