This is somehwere I've had my eye onever since I started diving in 99,
I spootted it in a Kuoni brochure and thought it was way above my league.
Autumn 2007 the thought came to me again about going, I soon googled it coming up trumps!
Soon I had booked me and Lisa on, and 4 Dutch buddies booked too!
The day eventually came we boarded the Junk, we were greeted by 3 British dive crew, Mad Mick, Keith and Laura. Brilliant!
Coupled with a native boat crew and cook, after a welcome drink We then set sail for the Similans.
An in depth report may follow but briefly we bumped into about 5 or 6 mantas, seahorses, harlequin prawns and ghost pipe fish,
tiger mantis shrimp, and a whole host of other stuff too! The food there was of course, traditional Thai, and it was the best!
We did 3-4 dives a day over 5 days, well recommended,
One day I wil be back.
Those who go on the Junk, always go back on the Junk - It´s in your blood, you have no choice
