About Me

Home

Well, you must be vaguely interested in knowing a little more about me otherwise you would not have clicked onto this link, so here goes...

My name is Paul Rose and I was born in 1960 in Middlesbrough on the north east coast of England, U.K. I have two elder brothers and a younger sister.

I attended Victoria Road infant and junior school's and Hustler secondary school before leaving in 1976 with a handful of GCSE qualifications of various grades. My first paid employment involved working as a labourer, which roughly translated meant a general "dogs-body".  I then found myself working for the British Steel Corporation at South Bank, and today I work for Middlesbrough Borough Council as an Environmental Health Technical Officer although I have worked as a fitter’s mate/mechanic and a pest control officer, all for the local authority.

I live with my partner Annette and we have two lovely daughters, Vikki and Siobhan, and two lovely grand children, Tia-Rose born February 2004, and Rio born January 2006.

Some of my interests include following my local football team Middlesbrough FC, motor sport of any kind, riding my 1976 Honda Gold Wing motorbike, fell walking mainly in the English Lake District, collecting Alfred Wainwright first edition books, and researching my family history.
