Prerogative Court of Canterbury (PCC) Wills

Swaffham Prior
The following names are listed in the PCC Wills index (1384 to 1858) as coming from either Swaffham Prior or Reach (Reche). Doubtless there are many other people who had an indirect interest in the parish but whose names are not indexed as having been from there.
I have started transcribing from the oldest records forwards and will add to them as time permits. Copies of PCC wills can be obtained from the Public Record Office's Internet documents online service (www.pro.gov.uk). Each will costs £3 and can be downloaded immediately after payment.
It is my long term aim to try and get hold of copies of as many of these wills as is possible.
