In the name of God Amen this thirty day of December in the year of our Lord god 1639 I Thomas Chambers of West Reach within the County of Cambridge yeoman being sike in body but of good and perfect remembrance thankes be given unto Almighty God ther fore revokinge and dissmissinge all former will and testament by me made do ordayne and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme ffollowinge FFirst I do give and bequeath my soule into the handes of Almighty God who at first gave it me and ? belongine to have full remissions of all my sinnes in through and by the miricle of Jesus Christ my only saviour and redeemer. And as for all my worldy goods which it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow uppon me I do give and bequeath as followeth. ITEM I do give and bequeath unto Robert Chambers the sonne of brother George Chambers and unto William Chambers the sonne of my brother Roger Chambers all that my coppyhoulde howse with all chapptenante there unto belonginge with all my arable lands and pasture both free and coppy to them and their heirs for ever to be equally divided between the sayd Robert Chambers and William Chambers. ITEM I do give and bequeath unto Richard Manninge and Ann Manninge the sonne and daughter of Susan my wife twenty pounds a peece which was given them in the last will and testament of John Manninge their late father diseased ITEM I give and bequeath unto Susan my wife all that my ? in the sluse in the loade to her and her heires for ever. All the rest of my goods memorables householde and reddy money unto Susan my loving wife paying my debts and discharging my ? and bringing my body decently to the ground and I do make the said Susan my wife sole executrix of this my last will and testament.
