In the name of God Amen I Samuel Chambers of Swaffham Prior in the county of Cambridge bricklayer being sick in body but of right mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God therefore do make ordain and appoint this my last will and testament in manner and form following First I commend my soul to Almighty God my maker hoping to be daved by the merit of Jesus Christ my only saviour and redeemer and for the settling of my worldly estate and such goods and chattles as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I do dispose therof as followeth IMPRIS I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Chambers all that my messuage or tenement situate and being in Swaffham Prior in which I now dwell together with all the outhouses barnes and stables thereunto belonging with one croft adjoining and also five rood of arable land lying in the Dale Field belonging to the aforesaid messuage or tenement with their every of their appurtenances for and during the term of her natural life and after the decease of my said wife Mary Chambers I do hereby give and bequeath all and singular the premises aforementioned with their and every of their appurtenances unto my daughter Ann Chambers and her heirs and assigns for ever ITEM I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the wife of Matthew Lilley one shilling to be paid to her one month after my decease by my executrix ITEM All the rest of my estate both real and personal good and chattles of what nature or kind so ever or what or whensoever I do hereby give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Chambers and do also make her sole executrix of this my last will and testament revoking all other wills by me heretofore made and owning this only to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I the said Samuel Chambers have hereunto sett my hand and seal this sixth day of September in the first year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland King defender of the faith de Anno Dm. 1727 (Samuel Chambers his mark, sealed and delivered published and declared by Samuel Chambers the testator in the presence of us Stephen Darly, Francis Sanders, Jn.
