In the name of God amen 13th March 1618
I Edward Chambers of Swaffham Prior ? ? in the countie of Cambridge yeoman, doth
make and ordaine this my last will in manner and forme followinge Ffirst I
bequeath my soule into the hands of Almightie God, [BIG PATCH NEEDS
TRANSCRIBING], And my body to the earth from whence it came. ITEM I give unto
Edward my sonne and his heirs, my house within which I dwell with all the land
there unto belonginge with my ? and ?, and he to enter of that ? land which his
mother is not in, at the age of twentie one years And ? after my decease ITEM I
give unto Anne my daughter, and her heirs twelve acres of land, which I
purchased of Abraham Benotholl, and she is to ? on the same, at her day of marriage, or one
and twentie years which shall first happen. ITEM I give unto Marye my
daughter,
and her heirs, seven acres of land which I purchased of Thomas Rolfe And she
is to enter on the same at her day of marriage or one and twentie years which shall
first happen ? ? and my will and meaning is that Joanne my wiffe shall have
the ? of the said land towards the bringing up of my said children and if anie
of my said children dye that then his or her part so bying shall be equallie
divided amongst them living And I ? ? ?, accordinge to the use of this my will,
unto the hands of my brothers [in-law] George Waters and John Waters ? ? of the said
manor of
which the ? are holden. All the rest of my goods, ? in ?, mouvable I give unto
Joanne my wife whom I make my executrix to this my last will, she paying my
debts fulfilling my will, and bringing my bodie ? to the grounde. In witness
