Return to Swaffham Prior Records

The poll tax of 1377 is a noted genealogical reference in most English counties as it preserves the names of the inhabitants of entire parishes. Unfortunately, the records for Cambridgeshire are in a poor state and preserve only the names of the parish warders. Things are even worse for Swaffham Prior, where even these names are mostly illegible.
