Introduction
Like many English parishes, Swaffham Prior has a generous series of records which contain genealogical information that stretches back to the time of the Domesday Book. I have steadily been collecting together many of these documents and will add them to this web site as and when I have the time so to do.
Many of my records are pre-Victorian as this is where my main interest in the parish lies. However, I am slowly collecting together some of the later material and will publish this also. Although the range of documents presented here is rather esoteric, some should prove to be useful to genealogists and local historians. Please contact me if you have any comments, corrections or if you have any information that I could add.
