Well done to Kerry Graydon for completing the 2009 Redcar half marathon in 2hours 16 minutes and 24 seconds and raising £221 in sponsorship.

ADELE'S MEMORIAL FUND CHARITY GOLF DAY AND RACE NIGHT

Well done to kerry Graydon for completing the Redcar 1/2 Marathon on March 18th in 2 hours 39seconds in very blustery conditions.
She raised £215.50 - thankyou Kerry.

Thanks to everyone who helped to organise the day including Helen Cotterill for opening the school for us, Steve for supplying the pie and peas, Jenny Puckrin, Joanne and Nicola for cooking them, a special thankyou to Sue Robson who did the most.
Well done to Matthew Puckrin and Carl Wood for completing the Middlesbrough 10k run and raising over £160 at the same time

Following the cricket mtach we held the Run for Adele, this was a sponsored fun run around the perimeter of the cricket pitch
Adele's day was organised by some of the year 11 senior students at Redcar Community College on November 30th.
They sold purple ribbons at school and at breaktime balloons were released as a tribute to Adele.
Rachael Puckrin, Rebekah Jackson, Louise Arden, Chloe Alderson, Lauren Bottrill, Faye Halliday and Chantelle Arbon all took part in the boxing day dip and raised £293.93

Whitby won the Whitby V Redcar cricket match but we hope to have a rematch next year!

Our annual charity night was held on may 27th at The Tardis Redcar this year
with the Wilcats of Kilkenny performing to a sell out crowd
They were absolutely fantastic and everyone had a brilliant night
We raised the grand total of £1436

On Tuesday 27th December 2005, New Marske played Tescos at New Marske sports club.
It was a brilliant day which raised a total of £625

Alex Puckrin and Aaron Robert, both aged 10, braved the cold of the North sea to take part in the boxing day dip, they raised over £200 between them
We held a cricket match on Monday 29th August between Marske under 11's and Maltby Under 11's
It was a brilliant game with Maltby coming out the winners
All players were presented with a medal courtesy of Ace Engravers
17 people of all ages took part raising a total of nearly £450 between them
We hope to make this into a yearly event - thankyou to everyone who took part
The charity night at New Marske sports club on 13th May raised a total of £484
A big thankyou to Gary Bavin for a brilliant karaoke disco - he helped to make it a fantastic night and his Elvis impression really made the night

BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA
Derek Puckrin held a music extravaganza at the First in last out - Whitby from Saturday 30th April - Monday 2nd May
A great weekend was had by all ending on the monday with a very tiring but enjoyable game of rounders.
Derek raised £1140, well done and thankyou.

WINNING POST- REDCAR
A big thankyou to the winning post for their continued support during the past year
They have held a number of draws for the fund, the most recent one raising £80 on new years day
A raffle is held every Sunday night during the quiz - to date this has made a profit of £1272

BOXING DAY CHARITY MATCH
It was a very cold but clear day, the turnout was brilliant.it was a very well fought match with the final result being 4 -4.
The pies went down well afterwards [ Thankyou to Vic ThomasButchers - Dormanstown for providing them]
A grand total of £461 was raised on the day.

3 very mad people braved the north sea to raise money for Adeles memorial fund raising £250 between them.

ABSEIL-TRANSPORTER BRIDGE - 5th september 2004
What a brilliant day we had, the weather was glorious, we couldn't have asked for a better day
29 people abseiled altogether - Vera Baird -our local M.P., Mrs Sanders and Mrs Kelly[West Redcar], Michelle Nawton,Sharon Bavin,Amy Hartley,Michelle Nicholson, Les Nicholson, Paul Nymeyer [Rainbow nurseries, Great Ayton]
Kay Young, Jennifer Rumsey,Cathleen Sheehy,Leigh Roberts,Wayne Revely, stephen Puckrin,Matthew Puckrin, Anthony Puckrin, Robert Dale, Mark Donalson,Kevin O'Brien, Edd Harford, Helen Hogan, PeterMattches [3 mentors from WestRedcar]Jeanette Metcalfe, Hugh jarvis and Kensley Wright[ both travelled from leeds to abseil],
Myself[Paula]and last but not least, 2 very special people decided to abseil last minute - Tom claxton aged 15, we met Tom and his mam Linda when Adele was in hospital, he has undergone treatment for a brain tumour and is currently in remission, and David Burton,
We also met Aline and David at Newcastle general when their daughter Hannah was undergoing treatment, Hannah sadly died in january 2004 aged 4.
Thankyou to all who braved the 160ft to make this a very special event.
Not forgetting of course the marshalls as the abseil couldn't have taken place without them.
Along with steve there was Paul Puckrin, Ron Puckrin, Paul green, Ian metcalfe, Phil and Caz Lee, Jak Brown, Sarah Shorter and Debbie Neal [the Katie trust]
To date we have raised £3000 with money still to come in
COFFEE MORNING
A coffee morning held at the United Reformed church, Redcar, raised £321 on the day, donations prior to the event were £81 making a total of £402.

A bootsale held at redcar racecourse on 2nd May raised £60.30
CHARITY NIGHT
The charity night at New Marske sports club on 14/5/04, raised a total of £985

On 4/5/04 and 1/6/04, South bank brass band played concerts to the residents of Brockley Hall in saltburn.
They raised £60 and £71 respectively raising a grand total of £131.

A FOOT IN 2 DALES
A foot in 2 dales is a circular walk of 50 miles that must be completed within 2 days, the walkers have to pass check points in a particular order and the maximum allowed stop at any one time is 1 hour
On 17th & 18th July 2004, Glenda Walton and Anne Smith completed this walk in 17 hours raising a massive £221.

On 21/8/04, sarah Kennedy held an all day live music event at the Brudnell social club in Leeds
She raised a total of £130
