Membership numbers stabilise at around 100 per annum ranging in age from under 10 to over 70 years. Membership is open to anyone, novice or experienced alike, young or just young at heart.

Membership of the BMFA is a prerequisite of A&DMFC membership. The club secretary will arrange BMFA membership on the applicants behalf. Senior members are 19 years or older. Junior members are 18 years or under on January 1st of the membership year.

2008 Fees- All BMFA Member fees have increased by Ł1 for 2008 across the board. Full Senior Member now Ł28 - Full Junior Member now Ł15 - Family partner fees have been increased by Ł1 to Ł18. Junior partner fees have been increased by Ł1 to Ł11. The club portion of the fees will not be increased for 2008.

Senior Club membership Ł56, Senior BMFA membership Ł28, Total Ł84.

Junior Club membership Ł18, Junior BMFA membership Ł15, Total Ł33.

Associate club membership fee (non flying), Ł21. There is no first time joining fee for new members. Please contact the club secretary to discuss family membership discount arrangements.

Club and BMFA membership is valid from January 1st to December 31st in any one year irrespective of joining date. If you are already a member of the BMFA, proof of insurance must be shown before you will be allowed to fly at our club fields.

For 2007 members, late renewal will result in a penalty of Ł28 being added to the 2008 membership fees. Simple solution, send your renewal forms and cheques to the club secretary before the 31st of December.
