RACING
Racer 1/5 bike championship
2003 sees the second national race series for 1/5 electric bikes in the UK. It is sponsored and run by the rc model magazine "Radio Control Car Racer", and consists of 8 rounds. There are 3 rounds at Mendip, near Bristol, 2 rounds at Snetterton, and a round each at Halifax, Wombwell, and Crystal Palace. You do not have to do all 8 rounds, as only your best 5 results will count towards the championship.There are trophies for top 3 at each round. Trophies and prizes to be presented at the last round for the top 3 finishers in the series. There will be a full report including pictures of every round in Radio Racer magazine throughout the year.
Open to all 1/5 scale electric and ic engine bikes.
Bikes to be standard, apart from any commercially available 1/5 bike tune up parts.
12 turn motor wind limit.
2400 mah battery limit.
£12 entry fee per meeting.
All competitors must have BRCA membership. £10 per year
