Sunday 6 May at Trinity Junior Parlour, Trinity College, Trinity Street, Cambridge CB2 1TQ
The Bar-Low tournament is Cambridge's annual tournament for kyu players only. This is a four-round McMahon tournament with faster than usual time limits. There will be two games in the morning session and two in the afternoon session.
For kyu players this is a good chance to play other players of your own strength, and for players approaching shodan this is a good chance to win a tournament. Many past winners have rapidly gone on to reach dan level.
The entry fee is £7.50 (non-BGA members add £1.50) and concessions are £4 (non-BGA members add £1). We are restricted to 32 places in the tournament room. We will put a list of entrants on the tournament web page; please let us know if you don't want your name to appear.
Trinity Junior Parlour is in Whewell's Court, on the opposite side of Trinity Street from the Trinity College main entrance gate.
You can see a list of players entered for the tournament so far.
There will be a cash prize of at least £30 for the winner and at least £15 for the best junior player. The other prizes will depend on the number of entries.
