Autumn 2007
The band has now joined the Myspace revolution. We have a page up which includes some recently recorded demo tunes. You can find our page at www.myspace.com/chalktown
Spring 2007
After ten years with the band Trevor Lines has decided to move on to pastures new. His last gig with the band was at Bromyard Festival in September 2006. As well as being a superb bass player, writer of tunes and generally top bloke, Trev was also our long suffering sound man, for which we owe him a massive thank you. Trevor is currently working on a new album of his tunes, and can be found lurking on Myspace at Trevor Lines Myspace
With Trevor leaving we decided to make a change to the sound of the band and are delighted to welcome Dave Blackmore back on board. Dave is a superb saxophone player and featured in the original line up of Chalktown. He is an ex-member of Gas Mark 5, playing on their much aclaimed Guizers album. With Chalktown he will be playing soprano saxophone and bass clarinet.
With the new line up Michael will be alternating between bass guitar and lead guitar to complete the new Chalktown sound. We have been working on some new tune sets which we hope to unleash over the Summer. We have a few dates coming up over the Summer and Autumn including an appearance at Towersey Festival. Hope to catch up with you along the way.
