Pen People is a magazine run as a not for profit publication. It is designed for enthusiastic calligraphers of all levels and abilities. We hope to help and inspire those who are interested in the art, and give a focus for their work. To this end we produce an A5 booklet each quarter. It is published in February, May, August and November.
Pen People covers subjects of interest for the calligrapher, information and news, topics to think about penning, book reviews and of course calligraphy, some of which is by professionals.
Since its launch in 2002, we have featured the work of many professional calligraphers that have inspired our readers by showing their work in our magazine. Subscribers can also join the envelope exchange scheme. This enables you to send and receive calligraphic envelopes to others in the scheme. You can see some recent samples on the envelope exchange page and in the subscriber's gallery.
