SOFTWARE UPDATE
There are three update files, all in zip format.
One contains the executable files associated with MIPS. These should be placed in the c:\mips folder.
The second contains updated Help files. These should be placed in the c:\mips\html folder.
The third file contains modified versions of the MIPS Ancillary Programs. These were released in the July update, but you need them if (i) you have not already downloaded them and (ii) you use the File|Import routines in MIPS. Check the modification dates of these six files (click the Readme Now! link below). The latest files have a modification date of 24 June 2004. The ancillary programs should be unzipped into the c:/mips folder (where the mips.exe program resides).
You will need a ZIP utility
in order to "unzip" these files.
