Want to get dirty with us?

The Green Lane Crew is all about riding - no politics, no joining fees and most importantly, no restriction on who can join in. Unlike other groups, we will mark up your maps, show you where you can ride and organise trips all around the UK and further afield. All we ask of you is that you have a road legal dirtbike, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour. Come and join the UK's fastest growing off road riding group based just north of London.

Where do I start?

If you are completely new to off road trail bike riding and have a bike, simply join the forum and you will soon get to know when and where we are riding. Your ability level is simply not an issue, there are loads of rubbish riders in the GLC, that's what makes it such a laugh! There are plenty of people that will help you out on the trails and give you pointers if you want.

Please be aware that the forum is in no way restricted - we do not censor it, but obviously the views that people share on there are not necessarily the view of the GLC in general!

If you don't have a bike yet then check out the riding section of the website for some options that are open to you, or check out the for sale section to buy a dirtbike!

GLC pub meetings

We meet at The Plough and Harrow, 88 Southdown Road, Harpenden, Herts, AL5 1PR on the first Tuesday of every month at 8.30pm for the main monthly meeting but you can also catch up with a few of the guys in The Wigmore Arms, Wigmore Lane, Luton, Beds, LU2 8AD pretty much every Thursday evening from 9pm.

Can I contribute in any way?

Yes you can, unlike most of the lazy gits on the forum you can help write features, do ride reports and generally give us any material you think would be good to help this website grow. All we need off you is a Word File and pictures (don't embed the pictures in to the Word document) and email them to us by clicking here.

You can also contribute to the costs of running all of this by either advertising on this site or by simply making a donation. None of this is in any way compulsary, this site is not designed to be a money maker, simply a place for us all to organise rides, beers and give newcomers & old hands the opportunty to join in the fun.
