The Brian Boru Club which is a member of the Irish Democratic League of Great Britain was founded in 1891 by a group of Irish immigrants and has been on this site, in Bryn Street, ever since. Its aims then was to help the Irish community and our elderly people and these are still our aims today. The Brian Boru Club one of the oldest Irish clubs in the UK is one of the premier venues in the North-West for both traditional and more modern Irish music. The club welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds and has regular live music and events. With traditional Irish dancing and music you can capture the true spirit of Ireland. With regular Ceilidhs and sporting events shown and even modern Irish music the Brian Boru has something for everybody.
