Maureen obtained her Licentiate in Acupuncture after three years study at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. The course teaches practitioners to seamlessly combine the traditional Chinese medical approach to acupuncture with the "5 element" form of acupuncture which has been practiced more traditionally in Japan and further developed in Europe . This gives the practitioner a more thorough understanding of the whole range of conditions which may be affecting any one individual, whether physical, emotional or "spiritual".
She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and has full professional indemnity and public liability insurance cover for her acupuncture practice.
Maureen also holds a Diploma in Chinese patent herbal remedies.
