The society runs and administers competitions for and on behalf of all of its members. Rules governing playing golf as laid down by the R&A should be adhered to by every member however in addition to these rules please ensure you familiarize yourself with any local rules which apply to whichever course you play. There are a few other rules which also apply and are listed here and are subject to change by the society committee.

Singles competition is by matchplay format.
Pairs competition is by matchplay format.
Plate Pairs competition is by matchplay format.

General Society Rules.

• As a member of the society it is your responsibility to ensure that fair play is adhered to at all times.
• If also you are a member of a club and play your matches at your club you must pay half the cost of your visitors fee.
