Latimer Golf Society (LGS) was started in 1989 by 5 teachers from Latimer school (hence the name) who enjoyed golf and wanted to play the great game once a month on local courses.

The society has now passed its 18th year of existance and can boast in excess of 40 members.

The society is run by an elected committee for the enjoyment of all its members and essetially playing 12 matches (once a month) throughout the year and on different courses within a radius of aprox 30 miles of Kettering. For those with a bit of a competative streak, the society also runs singles and pairs matchplay or for the more adventurous even a golf tour at Whitsun is usually available.

At the end of the year we all get together for the annual presentation dinner, the crowning of the glorious and the telling of the tales all washed down with fine food and drink. Come on join us.
