I was taught by a professional maker,
who worked for Hills in

London,

I have been playing the viola for 40
years and was taught by a

teacher, who studied with sevcik for
2 years.

Most of my instruments are Strad pattern.
|
|
Violas can be made any size to suit the
player.
|
|
|
|
|
The Bass I am making at the moment is
a design by Peter Chandler
|
|
from Canada. It is a 3/4 size with a
narrow upper bout for soloist ease.
|
|
The back is a carved back. The string
length is 42 1/2".
|
|
It will be finished around Christmas
2005
