TYD Funding

It is the ambition of TYD to stage the story of Titchfield in a magnificent multimedia event at the Abbey. In 2003 we were not given a grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund, but in 2004 we were awarded a 41% grant of about £5,000. We then failed to find sufficient funding to match the award. An agreement was made with the Heritage Lottery Fund to withdraw and reapply in the future.

These are the contributors so far:

Paul Hawkins, Titchfield
Titchfield Bonfire Boys Society

We are most grateful of their support and would be interested to hear from other potential partners.

Next content to be added to this site

  • People of the 20th century
  • Dynamic video of a tilt hammer in action
  • More pictures of the village
  • Audible versions of the Titchfield songs
  • Blues at the Abbey
We need research and financial partners to further expand this web site. Please help us to give it even greater depth and appeal by contacting TYD

People Who Like TYD

Hi Paul
I was really impressed - where did the graphics come from? I thought the pictures were great. [John Harper drew the majority of the artwork - ed.] The speed, layout and design looked good.
Cheers, John (http://www.hants.gov.uk/school/ranvilles/look.html)
