And of course the light shone only a little way, it came from a child. A child yet young, yet weak, fragile and delicate. It could not possibly yet be strong, not yet to penetrate all of the darkness. But because it was that of a child, nearest to the Creator from among all human beings, it was the best, and as gossamer, and therefore so thin a veil before the face of God.
