"Heaven Sent" truly was heaven sent because Paul Gray obviously was inspired when he created this music. He is a man of true and deep faith which is made evident on this CD. For our family and friends who all enjoy Paul's music, we all agree that "Heaven Sent" infuses a sense of serenity and the eternal in the midst of our busy lives. It is a prayer for us.

Usually I can tell straight away which are my one or two favourite tracks on any album. I would be hard pressed to choose on MIXED EMOTIONS; it is a mixed balance of lovely songs.

The single 'See My Friend' a Ray Davies composition originally recorded by the Kinks
in the latter part of 1965 is a song both Paul and I have always liked. Paul's version
is a beautifully haunting melody which I feel sure will linger on in the memory of
the listener.
