Fay Inchfawn Yahoo Group

Fay Inchfawn was the pen name of Mrs E R Ward, authoress of 37 books during the years 1920 - 1972. They consisted of verse and prose, mainly written for women, and she is remembered affectionately as The Homely Woman of those volumes. There were also a series of books for juniors, a journal, one novel, a book of ballads - similar to plays, and three autobiographical works.

Fay's words held a strong spiritual depth for she shared with readers her thoughts, joys, sorrows and fears so readily, revealing her underpinning faith.

Being a true lover of the natural world, a keen observer of human nature and sense of fun, added to the delight within her writing.

In company with others I continue to find her work uplifting in the twenty first century. The message of love is timeless and never fails.

I do hope at some future date to be able to share personal memories of Fay Inchfawn, and my gathered research surrounding this beloved author's life.
