We all enjoyed a super week-end in North-Wales. Saturday was a little damp for Les White's scenic run, which we all enjoyed. And Sundays trip to Erddig Hall nr Wrexham was warm and very sunny.

NORTH-WEST SECTION DAY TRIP TO THE ANDERTON BOAT LIFT.
We all had a very enjoyable day at the Anderton Boat Lift. This time we arranged a boat trip which took us to the Boat Lift, and then lifted our Boat onto the next part of the canal.
The first two pictures here, show some of our members enjoying the "NEW" Visitors center. And the third picture was taken on the boat prior to the trip to the Anderton Boat Lift. Our thanks go to Yvonne Brierley for organizing the day.

Week-End Away October 2004

These picture's were taken on a very "Blustery" Saturday afternoon nr Glason Dock. And shows members gathered around Ian's Jowett Weasel which had broken down on the scenic run. The problem was the "Timing chain" Which was fixed by his "Ace" mechanic Glyn Davies.

The images below were taken during our week-end away which this year was in Bilsborough in Lancashire. The first image was taken on the scenic run where Ian's Weasel had broken down. The second image was taken during our visit to John and Jackie Box's home in Burton on Kendal where we where made very welcome. Image's 3/4/5 were taken during the dinner on Sunday night.
